GAITHERSBURG, MD: FineCraft Contractors, Inc., (https://finecraftcontractors.com/), a residential and commercial contractor located in Gaithersburg, has recently completed a whole house remodeling for a family on Grafton St. NW in Washington, DC, which more than doubled the living space of the residence.
The family wanted more space for their growing family, and rather than move to a new home, decided to make additions to their current residence, allowing them to keep the same job, schools, and friends. With additions, the remodeling more than doubled the living space for the home. The large project took a year to complete.
The architect for the job was Anne Decker Architects in Bethesda, MD. Anne Decker?s award-winning projects have been featured in publications such as?Architectural Digest,?Period Homes, New Old House, Residential Architect and?Custom Home.
George Papaheraklis, founder of FineCraft Contractors, stated: ?This was a great project for us to be part of. Remodeling a home and adding to the living space is a great option for homeowners today, because they can get additional living space, but keep the things that mean so much. Like keeping the kids in the same schools, keeping the same jobs, the same church, and the same friends and social activities. Anne Decker did a great job creating a beautiful, contemporary design with lots of open spaces. She really duplicated the vision of the homeowner. ?
